The Prescription
The oldest form of yoga was never a class.
You already know how to show up for everyone else.
But when somebody asks what you want, what you actually need, you often find it hard to answer.
You've watched more free yoga videos than you can count, and closed half of them before the end, because none of it felt like it was actually built for you.
You've been going to the same class for years, know every cue before the teacher says it, and quietly wonder if you've stalled, because nobody's asked what you need in a long time.
You modify every single class around your back, or your knees, or your energy, without ever once being shown a practice actually built around it.
You've rolled your mat out for the first time in months, after the kids left home, or a divorce, or a long time away, and rolled it straight back up again, because starting alone felt harder than not starting at all.
You've bought the online courses and the workshops, promised yourself this was the one, and watched your motivation quietly disappear by week three, because it was built for everyone, and so it was really built for no one.
Wherever you're starting from, this is built around exactly where you are.
You were never meant to be one of twenty, in matching sets, chasing a look. Yoga stopped being taught the way it was built.
For most of its history, yoga was taught one-to-one: a teacher working with a single student, prescribing exactly what that person needed. Somewhere along the way it became a room full of strangers in matching activewear, all chasing the same look instead of an actual practice. There's nothing wrong with wanting to move alongside other people. But if you've been quietly craving something deeper, something true and meaningful and actually built around you, that's not a flaw in you. It's exactly what yoga was always supposed to be, and exactly what a room of twenty was never going to give you.
- A retreat you'll remember fondly and never apply
- A 40-page workbook that lives in a drawer
- A class with your name quietly added to someone else's program
- Just another mat in a room full of strangers
- One-to-one, every session
- Six months, not six weeks
- Built around exactly where you are right now
- Yours, not shared with a room of strangers
I built this because I needed it first.
When my body ached from a spine that curves more than it should, I wished for a teacher who could actually see it, and build a practice around it instead of despite it. When my dad died, I wished for someone to walk beside me through the grief, and through my own reckoning with mortality. When my marriage ended, I wished for someone to help me find my way back to myself, a kind of midwife for my own rebirth.
Nobody gave me that particular thing, so I built it, and I've spent years learning how to give it to other people.
Whatever you're carrying, physical, emotional, spiritual, or all three at once, I build you a bespoke plan of movement, breath work, somatic practice, and meditation. If it feels right for you, we can go further still: an Akashic records reading, a shamanic journey. This isn't a fixed script. It's a living relationship between us, and it shifts as you do. What needs tending will change, and parts of you will reach their own quiet completion along the way.
- Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher
- Trained somatic coach, The Somatic School, London
- Trained in reading the Akashic records with Ashley Hamaleinen
- Enough life lived, as a mother, a daughter, a partner, to walk beside you with real empathy, not just training
The Prescription Cycle.
Every limb of yoga, woven together: movement, breath work, and meditation, alongside mantra, mudra, and somatic practices like shaking, tapping, and subtle movement to tend to your nervous system.
An hour together on Zoom before anything else, so what comes next is built around exactly what you're working through right now, not a generic starting point.
A clear map for the month ahead: movement, breath work, mantra, mudra, and if it's right for you, a journey into the Akashic records or shamanic realms. Not a course to get through, a plan for exactly where you are.
Direct access to ask questions as they come up, so nothing sits unresolved between sessions.
One live session each month to see what's shifted, and to receive your next prescription. What needs tending changes, so the plan does too.
This repeats every month, for the full six months, so the plan never goes stale, because you don't either.
Two ways to say yes.
Six months, one-to-one, built entirely around you. Choose whichever way of paying makes the decision easier.
